Hi, I’m Jessica. I’m a Catholic homeschooling mother of three. To make some money in college, I worked as an assistant in a Montessori preschool and fell in love with teaching young children. I went on to get a master’s degree in early childhood education and an early childhood special education teacher’s license. I put myself through grad school by working at an education policy think tank where I researched and wrote about early childhood education policy. When I graduated, I taught in the public schools where I worked intimately with children and their families.
I am now blessed to use my education and experience with my own children. I want to use this blog to share a message of home education that redefines the “3 R’s.” I promote a relaxed approach to education, based on relationships and real experiences.
Razzbelly is my oldest son’s word for blowing on someone’s belly. To me, it captures my life at it’s best.
